Accessibility Policy - NIH Nonhuman Primate Reagent Resource

  • We strive to ensure that the information available on our website is accessible to all. As much as practical, this website complies with the requirements and guidelines of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (USA) and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) from the W3C.
  • If your browser supports access keys (and most modern browsers do), you will notice that entry fields on forms have access keys (shown as an underlined letter in the label for the form field). To use one of these access keys, hold down the ALT key and at the same time press the underlined letter - this will set focus to that form field. If one of these access keys conflicts with the access key for the main browser menu, you can alternatively select the browser menu item by pressing and releasing the ALT key and then pressing the letter key for the browser menu.
  • This website also has navigation access keys for the entire website. These navigation access keys work slightly differently in different browsers:
    • In Internet Explorer (PC), press ALT plus the number key at the same time, release these and then press the Enter key.
    • In Firefox (PC), press ALT plus the number key at the same time, and then release them.
    • On the Mac, press the CTRL key plus the number key at the same time, and then release them.
  • The navigation access keys are:
    • ALT + 0: Accessibility and access keys
    • ALT + 1: Home page
    • ALT + 2: Skip the navigation menus, and jump to the start of the content for the current page
    • ALT + 4: Search form
    • ALT + 9: Contact Information
